Summary

The Airfield Marking Symposium is a regional training course coordinated by Sightline. Attendees receive training with the Airfield Marking Handbook from the people who wrote it.

This workshop is a two and a half day course covering the best practices concerning airfield markings. Engineers, Applicators, Maintenance and Operations staff, Airport Managers and Inspectors will benefit from the training:

  • Classroom lecture each morning using the Airfield Marking Handbook.
  • Field demonstrations each afternoon including ultra-high waterblasting by StripeHog, AirMark preformed thermoplastic installation, Robo-Beader technology, and application and inspection techniques.
The workshop will begin with a welcome reception on Monday, May 9, 2011, at 5 p.m. CST, and will end on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Registration fees include the reception, two hot breakfasts, two luncheons, all refreshment breaks and course materials. Dress is casual, we will be going to the host airport in the afternoons for field training.

Attending the symposium will pay for itself with money saved by employing best practices. You owe it to your airport to be at this workshop in Dallas in May.
