The Commonwealth of Virginia became the first to conduct statewide assessments of its airports' pavement markings using the Marking Condition Index (MCI). With the results the Virginia Department of Aviation is now able to accurately predict, plan, and budget, maximizing its efficiency and resources for a sustainable program.
