What's New...Congratulations are in order for the Pittsburgh Steelers who became the first sixth-seed to ever win three road games on their way to winning a 5th Lombardi Trophy! What can I say that hasn't already been said? They deserve all the credit they are receiving. I must admit I was shocked at the outcome at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis 3 weeks ago. That game had everything; defense, offense, turnovers, bad calls, and last-minute heroics (by both teams, in the same play). For my money, that game between the Colts and the Steelers was the Super Bowl. I would have bet the house on the Colts running the table this year, but that is why it has been said, "That's why they play the games." To all the Pittsburgh faithful reading, enjoy this one -- it must be pretty sweet. Perhaps the 2006 Redskins will meet up with the Steelers for XLI... Why does everyone laugh when I say that? |
